 Line up of warbirds With the weather forcast making some think twice about attending, the numbers were probably smaller than they would've otherwise been if the forcast was for sunny weather. In the end, it was mostly sunny anyway, so much so, that any spot you neglected with sunscreen got suitably burned. There was the usual array of warbirds as well as some current RAAF hardware on display. The airfield coming to life again was wonderful sight. For more photos from the event CLICK HERE. |

The RAAF Roulettes made a stop over at Point Cook Airport during the Australia Day celebrations over Melbourne today. The 7 aircraft flew over the neighbourhood in close formation flying along Point Cook Rd more or less, before overflying the air field and landing for what seemed to be Lunch, as it was around midday.  Refueling The Roulettes are always a welcome sight at Point Cook and there was a healthy crowd of Museum visitors and locals who dropped in to say g'day.
